Trees are a significant part of our everyday lives. They contribute to our health, wellbeing and the enjoyment of our daily existence in both rural and urban environments, providing a visual connection with nature that is undeniable. The presence of trees and the beautiful canopy around us in forests, parks, private property and in the streetscape of the cities and suburbs we live in positively impacts our sense of wellbeing. Trees improve our air quality. They provide us with shade, soften the hard edges of our man-made environment and remind us that there is much to be enjoyed in the world outside our homes and offices.

Nicholas Kelaart is a highly experienced arborist and very thorough with the detail in his work. Having worked in Metropolitan Melbourne and extending out into rural Victoria, he has had the pleasure to be involved in many iconic projects throughout Victoria. Working with his father since the age of 12, Nicholas then completed his Certificates in Arboriculture and quickly moved onto contract climbing for many of Melbourne’s leading tree companies. It is his passion for providing a holistic approach to tree care and his eye for detail which lead him to start ARTISTREE Professional Tree Care.
He has a view of maintaining the green canopy throughout Melbourne, and maximising the benefits trees provide for us.

Richard Kelaart is highly credentialed, experienced and thorough in all things trees and their environments.
Richard has worked with municipalities around Victoria for many years, is familiar with the rigours of budget restraints and works to assist with all facets of tree management, fuel reduction, vegetation suppression works using specialised equipment and hazard assessments. He is involved with the assessment and management of trees, dedicated to assisting clients with preservation and minimisation of construction and development impacts upon vegetation and to maximise the benefit of trees within urban and rural environments.
